Abstrakt: W artykule przedstawiam problematykę związaną ze współczesnymi interwencjami feministycznymi w zakresie estetyki. W pierwszej kolejności zajmuję się kwestiami zdefiniowania i autonomizacji estetyki feministycznej, odwołując się do poglądów takich badaczek, jak C. Korsmeyer, H. Hein, M. Devereaux, R. Lorraine Cox, E. Lauter czy P. Zeglin Brand. Następnie dokonuję przeglądu głównych nurtów estetyki feministycznej obecnych w filozofii od lat siedemdziesiątych XX wieku. Nurty te określam jako: historyczno-krytyczny, esencjalistyczny, matriarchalny oraz anty-teoretyczny. Moim celem jest syntetyczne omówienie kondycji estetyki feministycznej jako ważnej dyscypliny filozoficznej, która z wielu względów pozostawała – i, jak sądzę, nadal pozostaje – na marginesie feministycznej filozofii.

Aesthetics on the margins? Overview of currents in feminist aesthetics
Abstract: In the article I present selected problems related to contemporary feminist interventions in the field of aesthetics. I first deal with the issues of defining and autonomizing feminist aesthetics, referring to the views of such researchers as C. Korsmeyer, H. Hein, M. Devereaux, R. Lorraine Cox, E. Lauter, and P. Zeglin Brand. Then I present the main currents of feminist aesthetics present in philosophy since the 1970s. I define these currents as: historical-critical, essentialist, matriarchal and anti-theoretical. My goal is to synthetically discuss the condition of feminist aesthetics as an important philosophical discipline which for many reasons remained – and, I believe, still remains – on the margins of feminist philosophy.
