Thea Ionescu is Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Psychology and Sciences of Education, Babeş- Bolyai University, Romania. She teaches Developmental Psychology and she is researcher in the Developmental Psychology Lab, where she coordinates the Flexibility and Grounded Cognition group. Her research interests include: cognitive flexibility, categorization, giftedness, insight problem solving, and the implications of the grounded cognition approach for human development and education.
